Rules and Regulations – Dance

Group (Western / Folk)

1. Maximum 10 members per team
2. Maximum time duration – 8 mins
3. Participants must bring their own tracks in a CD/Pendrive, cued and ready to start
4. It is recommended that participants bring a backup CD/ Pendrive in the event of a malfunction of the original
5. Participants are allowed to bring any props that they require for the performance

Solo (Theme based)

1. Maximum time duration – 5 mins
2. Participants must bring their own tracks in a CD/Pendrive, cued and ready to start
3. It is recommended that participants bring a backup CD/ Pendrive in the event of a malfunction of the original
4. Participants are allowed to bring any props that they require for the performance

MUSIC / SingING

Rules and Regulations

BAND

1. Maximum 10 members per team including vocalists
2. A drum kit will be provided
3. The Band members have to bring his/her own instruments
4. Maximum duration – 10 mins
5. Participants may either cover a song or play their own compositions

SOLO (CLASSICAL)

1. Strictly only solo entries
2. Participants have to bring their own shruthi box.
3. Maximum duration – 5 mins.

SOLO (LIGHT)

1. Strictly only solo entries
2. Participants have to bring their own karaoke in a CD / Pendrive
3. Maximum duration – 5 mins

Photography

Sub categories

1. Prelims (Entry by mail)
2. Finals (Display in venue)

Rules and Regulations

Prelims / Finals

1. Theme will be informed 2 weeks before Prelims / Finals
2. Strictly only DSLR pictures
3. Images should be JPEG format and at least 1600 pixels wise or 1600 pixels tall for a vertical images
4. Each participant can submit 3 images
5. Entries submitted should be RAW and not retouched

Short Film

Rules and Regulations

1. Shortlisted entries will be given another theme for finals
2. This is only a short film competition and hence strictly NO Documentaries
3. The film shall not be more than 5 mins including beginning and end credits
4. Films exceeding time limit will be rejected
5. Language – English / Tamil
6. Format : The films may be shot in MPEG4 or AVI format

QUIZ

QUIZ

1. Only team entries are eligible.
2. A team shall consist of max three persons.
3. The decision of the quiz-master will be final and will not be subjected to any change.
4. The participants shall not be allowed to use mobile or other electronic instruments.
